Ten Questions to ask Before hiring your DJ
- Are we guaranteed the DJ of our choice on the day of our event?
Yes, your DJs names will appear on your booking contract as your entertainers, and you will have a phone meeting with them as well.
- How many years of experience do you have?
We each have over 20 years of entertainment experience, and we created JJ Entertainment DJ fifteen years ago.
- May we contact your references?
Absolutely. Please refer to our references page on this site.
- Will you allow requests at our event?
Absolutely, we welcome requests. As part of our planning process with you, we also ask for any types of music or specific song titles you do not want played, or if the song is inappropriate, we can explain the reason and offer alternative suggestions to your guests. Please see Guests Requests from our online music library.
- How early will you arrive to setup?
We arrive a minimum of one hour in advance, sometimes earlier if we have multiple setups, so that we do not have to rush through our sound check. We do not charge for setup or tear down time on your contract.
- How will you be dressed?
We usually wear a tuxedo or a suit.
- Are you insured?
Absolutely, we carry a million dollar liability policy, and we have a business license as well.
- Do you use professional gear?
Again, absolutely. We pride ourselves on our sound and use professional, commercial quality equipment, and state of the art microphones for a clean, clear sound. Please ask for a breakdown of what we use if you are interested.
- Will you provide a backup system at our event?
Always -- as professionals, we leave nothing to chance. Your day is too important!
